A beautiful morning

I awoke this morning in time to see what was to me a wonderful sight.

As I looked out of my window there was a beautiful crescent moon illuminating thin patches of translucent clouds as stars twinkled through them from the deep purple, still night sky.

As I moved my eyes to the opposing lower corner of the window the sky seemed to go through the entire spectrum from night to day, the deep purple drifting into red, becoming brighter, gold then firey orange culminating in a band of bright blue sky just starting to appear.

It was such a lovely sight to behold I had to sit and admire and feel grateful for having been awoken just in time to see it, a whole day in one window.

My words here cannot do the vision itself justice but I wanted to share it as best I could.
