A Lightworker Paradox
I posted this as a blog too but I thought I'd try and get some views from in here too......
This is a bit of a strange question!
Q) How seriously and to what extent do You take Your responsibilities (in relation to other people) as a LightWorker?
We've All met miserable people and sometimes we've All been miserable OurSelves right? We know that being miserable consistently is usually a sign of things not being right in someOne's life to cause them to act this way. So......upon interacting with a miserable person how should we act?
I'm not asking for inter-personal relationship tips here of course but there are two strands of thought here. "A miserable person needs help so I'm gonna help them". OR "This miserable person is now impacting upon my energy in a negetive way and that so I shall walk away".
Let me give You an example of a person I met today. I was delivering laundry because my driver was off sick. I went to one hotel and met the manager there, the guy who I set up the contract with. I knew him to be a misery since I'd met him before. I asked him for a key and his response was (aggressively) " Go to the other $%^&*£" counter I'm busy" I did this without responding and carried on my day. He then overheard me having a conversation with One of his staff. She was asking me to show a ripped sheet to my manager. When I explained I AM the manager so I'll deal with it, this miserable guy came over patted my shoulder and was all "Ben how ya doin'?"
I smiled and cut the conversation dead. "Fine thanks, take care" And then I left.
This got me thinking many things. Firstly why do people have to behave differently to others based on their status? I mean if that had have been one of my drivers then is it now ok for them to be sworn at and treated like that? No. Is it then ok for Me to be treated better because my job is different? No.
So then I thought about my Lightwork and trying to awaken as many Souls as possible. Should I have stayed here and had it out with this guy? Surely I could have pulled him up on his pathetic attitude and maybe made a difference for the next poor Soul who enters his life, baring in mind it could have got quite nasty..... Or was I correct to smile and walk away? Because if so........where is the boundary. Where does Lightworking begin and end? Surely now he'll just be miserable agian tomorrow!?!?!
