32 Rishikesh is an Energy Vortex
The importance of Rishikesh is not to underestimate. The ancient Rishis used to live in a very high vibration; they could reach dimensions we are dreaming about. I recently found out that Swami Vivekekenanda was very ill when he was in Rishikesh and during that time he had a revelation that he needed to go to the west and start his mission and teach Indian philosophy and spirituality.
The ancient Sages and Rishis of Rishikesh were very pure beings and had a deep connection and respect for nature. Their moral values were very high and they used to practice yoga every day. I can imagine that at that time, they used to live in Tapovan, exactly the place where we are living. I tell you why: the point where we are residing is exactly in the middle of this beautiful valley of the sacred river Ganga. When I lie down on top of our building I can see nature all around. On the sides I see two mountains with dense forest, forming a v-shape. And in the front, inside the v, there is another mountain which is of a different color. It looks like being embraced and nurtured by those mountains. The color of the sky is mostly deeply blue and the rare days when there are clouds, it is amazing how those clouds are dancing and telling many stories.
The Sages left this place when this land got occupied by people from Rajasthan, who started populating the hill areas. Those people later on became the Garwali people, the inhabitants of Garhwal. (area where we are residing). So the Sages decided to go to a more quite area and went to the other side of the river, a place called Swargashram. There they had a strict rule that the members of the Sadu Society (Rishis and Sages) were not allowed to entertain outsiders during the nighttime. They had contact with people, but they knew that if they started to be involved with society, their purity of life would be in danger.
In the 1930’s, Swami Shivananda, one of the Saint’s in Swargashram, did not respect those rules and the Sadu Society promptly threw him out. He came on this side of the river and started a very good business. He was teaching yoga to foreigners and with the money collected he built a big ashram. Why he was a Saint for the local people? Of course, part of the money he collected he used to organize food and clothing for the poor people. He thought this business to his disciples and till today Shivananda is a name for highest quality of yoga and philosophy.
So Swami Shivananda was the first “bad” apple in the basket and one bad apple quickly affects all the other apples in the basket. Rishikesh got extremely corrupt. The dark forces have taken over this important Energy Vortex almost completely. In the last years much money has come and the building activities are extremely intense. The natural beauty of this valley is slowly disappearing. The lost of inner power is pushing the Swamis to build bigger and higher. Power must be shown on the outside by palaces and temples. Rishikesh has become an in-place. Rich people from all over are investing money here to have a holiday residence in the Himalayan Mountains.
My fight here is not only a fight for money. It is an important fight for Energy and the possession of this important Energy Vortex. This is an appeal to all the Lightworkers to not let the dark forces take over the Centre of Light. It is a special place and the Energy and Power I received from this holly land is not possible to pay with any amount of money.
God bless
George
