Traveling In Time

OK... I managed.. in a dream.. to travel in time. I perceived how to do this in a channel, within my dream. I pictured a linear time 5 days before and through the correct methods popped myself into that exact time frame. I found myself in darkness and space, near planets that were unfamiliar to me. I KNEW that I had succeeded in traveling in time, but couldn't understand where I was and what had happened. Any clues or answers to this ? This is one of those dreams that I KNOW is a question.. that IS an answer unto itself. ANY ideas would be helpful... Thanks in advance :)
