Dear Ones,
There is a question regarding lack. As you study and learn the mysteries of energy and substance, it is natural to wonder why, having learned that your thoughts create, your thoughts have not yet created the abundance you desire.
Consider the view from any window. As the springtime comes, the trees fill with leaves and from the window the viewer can observe birds, squirrels, and their activities. The beautiful trees, with their flowers or fruit, provide hours of enjoyment in observation.
As always, the seasons change. New beauties, new activities are enjoyed from the window. And, in time, the brilliant leaves fall from the trees and the branches are bare. Now the observer in the window can see what was obscured before. The yard of the neighbour is now visible. The horizon with its distant hills. The brilliance of sky and cloud, moon and star.
Should the observer cry, asking, "Where are the beautiful leaves? Where are the squirrels and birds?" We would say, in reply, "Enjoy the ever-changing aspect outside your window!" For now, with the leaves and fruit gone, you can see farther than ever before.
And so it is with life on Earth. As you find plenty, with it comes much to delight and distract. In times of lack, these distractions fade. Your attention turns again to your connection to the Divine, to your dependence upon the Creator for all you enjoy. Now you see more clearly what may pass your notice in times of flow.
When you feel lack, notice what is missing from your life. Notice the distractions that have fallen away and return your attention to your connection with Divinity. As you supply what is missing there – for it is there that lack begins – you will find what is missing in the material world is supplied as well!
