Working with Indigo and crystal children
At present, I am working with 3 Indigo children, 2 of whom I am working with because they are having what is known as the ‘night terrors’. One of their mothers is my cleaner that is how I got to know about it. However I do run workshops every summer so most people know that I do work with children – drumming – intuitive and working with the earth energies, crystals and working with the faeries and the pixies. Many pixies come to dance in my garden. We also do dance, cooking and painting.
So one child - a girl - is having ‘night terrors’ on a cycle that I have yet to work out, but every couple of months, there is a week of these episodes. She goes into extreme shock, rigid body and crying and screaming, asking for her mummy – lots of “don’t do that, I don’t like it, don’t hurt me!” The distressing thing for the mother is that when she reassures her daughter that she is safe, the daughter says “I don’t want you, I want my real mummy!” – tears at the heart I know. Calling the girl by her name (in this incarnation) doesn’t work to pull her out of it, and indeed the only person who can pull her out of it (up to now) is her father. Having been there what struck me, and the mother when pointed out, is that he does not use her name at all, just shouts very loudly, and powers out his energy to pull her back into this life.
She is reverting in sleep back to a previous life and reliving a traumatic event, and in the case of the other child – reliving a traumatic death situation.
We started with a small group of the three of us so that it was not obvious what issues or even which child we were addressing. The children – 2 of whom are manifesting psychic abilities, but don’t know what to do with them, and of course are seeing the negative astral entities that are drawn to their light – start with play.
I have found that play works best, and the parents or the mother are present at the beginning. Parents don’t really need to grasp all that goes with this talk of energies, vibratory states, and pixies – but the fathers do seem to grasp the ‘psychological benefits’ of such an approach. It does have to be addressed to them in that way.
So we started with meditation – but because children of that age do not have a great attention span, although these children break that rule because they do have the focus more so than other children, we start with images and feelings.
I started off at the bottom of the garden, each sitting on a chair or a cushion of choice – which helps with the attunement to their intuition – and ask them to go off into the garden and find a stone that they like the feel of. It can be any stone, although in my garden – because of the fae – there are quite a number of crystals scattered in part of the garden. It is rather a large garden. I tend to do this mid to late afternoon when children have been running around all day. Every help is needed to bring the children into a calm relaxed state.
They come back with a stone, or crystal, and one lad came back with a conker and that was fine too. So we looked out over the fields and while they held their objects I did a mini vision journey adjusted for children in language and imagery. All the while they hold their object and as they watch the sky turning different colours and the shadows on the garden, they can tell me what each object meant, and tell each other. We explore every aspect and light and feeling and energy. We use words like ‘bzzz’ and ‘ztztztztzt’ and whatever to describe how it feels.
Then they can keep their crystal, stone or conker depending, and we dance to the sun and the pixies – no embarrassment is allowed by adults, and if they adults can’t dance from their soul then a child will help them – or they don’t come again.
Then of course we go and have cakes and drinks, and paint how we feel. One of the children gets to pick the music that we paint to, and it can take several goes, but that’s fine because they have to attune to the music. Then they pick what shape of paper, what colour of card or paper – which brush, which paints and I have taken to having all manner of overalls for kids if the parents insist – but I don’t really want that, - we try to take out the ‘could’ve, should’ve, would’ve’ for the kids.
So that is the first of the days – and I carry on doing various things, - but it is intuitive and I do what I am guided by Spirit to do. With the crystals – as you know my bedroom is a cave of crystals and a sacred protected space, so we will learn about that and we each come to know what symbols we would use to protect a space, or what plants we would use. We work on power totem animals and protective animal spirits (my godson has a blue/green dragon which is singularly appropriate for him – with an obsidian spear to hand when he needs it, in dreams or during the day)
I don’t use any videos or TV or computer stuff – because that doesn’t tend to be available when you are asleep.
So as you can imagine, I do get through a good few crystals, choosing a crystal has to come from the heart and the soul, and a good choice is needed. When I pick or find crystals coming to me, I go to a geologists ‘rock shop’ and feel which crystals want to come home with me – usually a lot, but then I can refine that – and generally it is the first crystal I pick up.
So this week has been half term and we have all been up to Norwich – nearest city – to Angel’s Crystal shop – great for kids and picked a crystal for protection. We are also working on psychic development, astral bogeymen and as one girl put it ‘horrid nasty cats’.
