How about reading mine?

OK. I know it sounds like I'm promoting myself, but I'm actually trying to promote a concept in one of the books I wrote. "Mrs. Pope" brings together different religious and cultural beliefs all in order to defeat evil/negative energy that is harming a particular region in Central Ontario, Canada. Please let me explain.

I have always been a huge advocate of people of different religious backgrounds coming together to worship a single Creator regardless of what name we choose to call this Entity. I have worked with my Reiki students to teach this concept, many of which are teenagers. I feel that if we could do that, there would be no more need for religious wars and the extremism we're experiencing today. We just need to feel our connections to each other and realize how we truly are all One.

"Mrs. Pope" is fiction, but the ideas are there. When I met with members of the Ojibway 1st Nation Reservation at Henvy Inlet they were unbelievably receptive with the idea. When they finally read the book, they enjoyed the story, but also the ideas we had discussed in our meetings showing up smoothly within the storyline.

This is my way of trying to introduce new ideas to people... write about them in a way people can more easily accept without being preachy. I try to make it fun by presenting a story, then trusting the reader to get whichever message they're meant to receive.
