Indigos and Rainbows

I've heard varying views about Indigos, and I've found that most people who talk about them haven't heard of Rainbows. I just wanted to give my understanding of the whole phenomena. New Age Children are those children (some are now grown up) who are coming in to facilitate and assist the full transition into the New Age. Indigos are a kind of new age children (the first spot on the spectrum) but, because they are the most commonly known name for these children, the whole spectrum is often reffered to as Indigo. The spectrum includes other kinds like Bronzes, Golds, Crystals, and Rainbows (Rainbows being, technically, the furthest evolution of it). The main difference between Rainbows and Indigos (although you could technically say a Rainbow is a type of Indigo) is that Indigos can take on a lot of negativity from around them and struggle with it, where as Rainbows shift the negative energies around them or are impervious to them. The qualities most New Age Children have in common are being highly inteligent, creative, wise, intuitive (though they my not know to trust their intuition), artistic, multi-talented with many interests/passions, free spirited, free thinking, having an internal sense of compassion and justice (though perhps different from other senses of justice), and not easily submitting to or respecting/recognizing authority-without-explanation.
Honestly, there may be other kinds of New Age Children (in the middle of the spectrum) whom I am forgetting, or not aware of. After all, people can have a tendancy to divide phenomena into so many catergories and ranking systems! The higherarchy/categorization is not really important. All of them can eventually shift to a Rainbow vibration anyway if they really want to grow, let go of their baggage, and fully embrace divinity. What is important is what they're here to do.
These Children have souls of ascended masters, perhaps angels, or other divine beings of light. If those kinds of beings instantly manifest physically on Earth, that vibration can only be held for a few days. Therefore, Indigos (I'll use this now to refer to the spectrum of New Age Children) have gone through the slower, gentler process of being born back in. This means they'll have some genetic issues to work out, and they have to re-learn their greatness and power, but their souls are enjoying the journey. They haven't experienced 3-dimentional, physical Earth (in linear time) for a while, having mastered and moved on from this plane of existence long ago. Many seem to think that Indigos are very rare and that one must have some kind of amazing psychic power to prove themselves Indigo. How silly! They're still re-learning in this dense reality so give 'em a break. If one has a strong draw to psychically and spiritually develope, and they take it seriously with a knowing that it is part of them, then there's a good chance they are Indigo. Besides, it certainly may not be necessary for a particular Indigo to develope much psychic ability in order to fulfill their nature of facilitating change, in their own particular way.
As I understand it, Indigos have been coming in throughout all of the last century but weren't born in significant numbers until about the 40s and 50s. Many of the hippies were the first wave of indigos (though, at that time, not many of the kinds closer to Rainbow were being born yet). By the 80s, the percentage had gone up of indigos born (maybe 15% - 20% of kids being born) and at this point most young children are Indigos. Many of those being born now are actually coming in as Rainbows. As we can see, shifts are happening at an ever-increasing pace in this world, and it's goig to be exciting to see just how far it goes with all these New Age children!
Now, I don't believe that from now on humanity is going to be all Indigos. They are coming in now to facilitate the transition. Once it is complete, humanity will be enlightened and empowered enough to maintain the Age of Aquarius vibration without Indigo assistance, and more souls will come back in who are not yet ascended masters. The Indigos' next experiences will be in the other realities from which they came, stopping in to pay earth a visit and lend a helping hand.
