What does your TATTOO mean?

Hi friends, I have been toying with the idea of getting a tattoo.  It would have to be something of meaning in my life, and I'm only recently rediscovering myself.  I'm contemplating a black widow spider tattoo (maybe lower back), and perhaps the red hourglass shape below my navel.  This has some significance to me personally as I identify with the black widow in her characteristics (no, she doesn't always kill her mate!), and also spiders (I believe) are my animal totem.  At least the description I read at http://wolfs_moon.tripod.com/SpiderTotem.html describes me quite well: the lesson being balance, and as a Libra I can tell you the scales are tipping constantly in the world of duality for me--ongoing work. 

I've noticed many profile pictures of members with tattoos and wondered what they mean for each of you, and how you came to the decision to get the tattoo(s) that you did.  Please share if you'd like!
