THE ENERGIES HAVE COMBINED

You were just a chain to me
A device, which restrains
I could have told anyone that I loved them
Everywhere I go I remember all that you taught me
It’s like clarity in the unknown
In the minds I interact with I see where my flame went out
I told you that I loved you
On the day we went different paths
A storm consumed my identity
I lost my direction and almost broke
I have met the minds I needed to meet
A flame has been lit
In the faces I see love is felt
I wish I could tell everyone
Eyes need to be read
Words need to be heard
People are on different levels
You were a lesson I had to learn
I know where I am from but where will I go
I’m the life I live
My foundation is in place
All this listening all the time
My mind spins out of control
My words fall short
When there is nothing to show
Loyalties have been challenged
Tests have been done
Lessons will be taught
Lessons will be learned
I am being taught things I already knew
I know who I am
The protective covering is being shed
The weak will run the strong will combine
If you think you can figure this out
Then lets take a ride
I will respect your barriers
Just respect my words
In the end barriers will crumble
Trust will be earned
Unbreakable bonds will develop
The energies will combine
