PEACE PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS

Beloved Friends,

The prayer of St.Francis of Assisi is the most powerful peace prayers of all times. It offers a spiritual solution for every problem in the world.

St.Francis who was born in 1181 in Assisi, Italy , lived his life in imitation to Jesus Christ. His remarkable Spirit and commitment to Christ revealed and unconditional love that attracted many followers.

The prayer of St. Francis challenges us to go back to that quiet inner place within and recommune with God.

We can exercise our freewill and choose PEACE. When we become instruments of peace, we reflect the perfect love of our Christ self. And perfect love casteth out all forms of fear that creates hatered, doubt, despair, darkness and sadness!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today my heart is singing this prayer to me from the time I woke up this morning, Hence I am sharing it with you dear beloved friends.

PEACE PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;

Where there is hatered let me sow love;

Where there is injury, pardon;

Where there is doubt, faith;

Where there is despair, hope;

Where there is darkness, light;

And where there is sadness, joy.

Grant that I may not so much seek

to be consoled as to console;

to be understood, as to understand;

to be loved as to love;

for it is in giving that we receive;

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;

and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
