My First Blog, My First Gift to You

From the moment I joined the Light Workers I have felt so warmly welcomed. The love energy and caring between those that have been here awhile and those of us that have merely joined into this welcoming light is astounding!

There are so many negative places online that it is a wonderful surprise to find a group of people so different yet so similar in views and energy. I am amazed that I can actually feel the energy of each person as I read their profile, blog and other interesting comments. The contentment I get from being on the site and wandering through the doorways to each living light calms me. For instance, just the act of driving my child to school; dealing with harried drivers itching to get to work on time, then putting up with other parents tunnel-visioned in their singular goal (to get their child to school safe and sound) with no consideration for others around them... it's enough to make you wonder if they truly have their priorities straight!

I try not to get caught up in the drama anymore. It is a learning process and I shouldn't let that negative energy affect me. However, now I have this wonderful place and all of you special souls to feel nurturing and healing loving light. Amazing! What a connection, I never would have thought possible. I truly believe in energy now. Oh, I did before, but this just cinches it for me! Those positive vibrations come through my computer screen just as surely as the negative ones from the speeding world outside.

To help me shrug off the negativities I like to get creative and dabble with graphics and imagery. And with that, I have created a gift for all of you. A small token of my love and appreciation for all that we are; LIGHT WORKERS.

I used a photo I took and made it into something that I can only describe as "reaching for the light for some peace in my life". I hope you enjoy it!
