The Secret of Aenima

Heavy metal may not be your cup of tea, but I LOVE Tool. They touch on many spiritual topics and paint with it in there own style. If any of you are familiar with the band, then you may have heard of there album Aenima. But did you know about the secret of this album?

The album is actually a Kundalini Enima, based on Carl Jungs aproach to psycology. The album name is actually the combination of Anima, and Enima. At the hunch of one of my close friends, I traced each track by seconds up the human spinal chord, from the base (Root Chakra) to the crown of the skull (Crown Chakra) and the resaults where very interesting. The songs match up with each chakra point, and have relevance.

A few conections...

Root-
Stink fist starts out the album by "finguring" your kundalini. The Root chakra is related to physical pleasure, security, and sexual energy for males. This can get conjested and actually create severe problems with sexually molested children, which is actually the meaning of the song. It can also unbalance with over sexual stimulation. LYRICS: "Constant over stimulations not a burden anone should bare"

Next song is a dedication to the comedian Bill Hicks, Quote Hicks: "The beach, the beach, the beach, whats the fucking deal, its where sand meets water", Lyrics: "He had allot to say he had allot of nothing to say", The Root Chakra is earth, Orange is water, where sand meets water.

~RAM~ Your third yellow Chakra is related to self confadince and asserting yourself, hairy manback and hooker with a penis cover this, FIRE!

The green heart Chakra has to do with compassion, and love. This chakra is usually injured during the loss of a good relationship. From Jimmy, "What was it like to see, the face of your own stability, suddenly look away, leaving you with the dead and hopeless", and then the song starts the healing of that wound.

Aenima starts with heavy breathing, your 5th Chakra point has to do with breath/speech, and it is located in your thought.

Third Eye, is just a given.
