Recommended Reading: My favorite piece of literature and the only one that inspires me is the poem Ulysses by Tennyson. The final six lines bring tears every time.
"Tho' much is taken, much abides; and tho'
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,--
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."
Spiritual Path: Brightly colored little round rocks in a two-foot bed hedged with thin strips of blond fir. It gently curves and drifts quiet into the thick Pacific Northwest forest lush with underbrush and bunnies.
Interests: Arranging my new, cornflower blue and coordinated toothbrush holder, bar soap cradle, and matching drinking cup perfectly on the small white countertop with white oval sink in my little bathroom. I make dramatic movements of each piece now and then.
Cooking is becoming a grand interest. It combines movement, smell, touch, taste, sight, and the many sensations of food preparation plus various types of heat interacting with multiple textures, density, shape, consistency, and vibration of food.
I may become interested in photography soon, and I am taking a community education writing class.
Now concerning spiritual interests, I like them. I really enjoy spiritually spiritual stuff as well as worldly spiritual stuff.
Creating: What do I want to be or create in the future?
I thought this was the future.
What if this life now is the future life I have not lived yet in reference to the past life I am living now? How cool is that?
Awakening: When wet becomes wetter, I will probably wake up more.
