Creating:

Awakening:
At sixteen years of age, I got my first proper boyfriend. In general, we got on rather well. However, there was an issue on which we kept falling out on. I was opening up to spirit more and more at this point, and would refuse to use the downstairs lavatory in his house. Once, when the upstairs lavatory had broken, I insisted on going home to use my own toilet. My boyfrend couldn't understand why I refused and one day asked me why I disliked that bathroom so much. I explained that I felt the presence of a very old man, who had died with a bad chest and was "annoyed" to be stuck in there. He laughed at me and said I was silly. However, a few months later, his neighbour dropped into a conversation that the previous owner had been an old man who had passed in the lavatory with a heart attack. At this point, I realised I was getting into something big. The relationship fizzled as he became progressively more frustrated by my premonitions and insights.

At eighteen, I met another man who was spiritually orientated. He understood the things I saw and felt. He taught me how to meditate, about auras and how to close off to negativity. Although our path crossing was brief, I learnt all I needed from him and began to learn how to control my gifts.

For a couple of years, I lived content with the knowledge I had gained and the margin of ability I had picked up. I bought my first tarot deck, which I kept hidden from my mother in a sock and made many true predictions and readings with it.

However, it was not until I moved out from my mother's home and got a job working as a care assistant in a nursing home that my gifts really rocketed. I began to see spirit wandering around the home as well as noticing when a resident was ready to pass. During my brief period in this home, my gifts rocketed to acute levels and I started working as a medium.
