Chakras

Hi, I am new to healing, but have always felt as though it was there..but before i go to sleep...and i dont know why..but i feel the need to run over my body, with my hand, while laying down..and everytime i do that over a chakra my hand starts moving in circles over it..now i know that the chakras are vortexes of energy and they spin..but what exactly does this mean..?Does it mean that they are activated?Don't need healing? Or that they are balanced?
