this is a collection of fantasy short stories - i just read two and love her style!
hayao miyazaki, who is my favourite director (nausicaa of the valley of the wind; spirited away, howls moving castle etc) apparently incorporated elements of le guins books, and even has one by his bedside.
i dont usually read fiction just for fun, but perhaps because she captures something otherwordly and spiritually centred, im finding this great!
