Choked with emotion

Hello Light Family.

I need a little insight and advice, please. I have a problem that is becoming socially embarrassing. I cry.

Whenever I am in a situation where I feel strong emotion, it overwhelms me, and I find myself weeping.

This is not limited to negative emotions only, such as sadness, fear and anger, but also if I feel love, compassion, sympathy, or simply if something resonates as Truth with me.

For example, every time I speak or read about Jesus, I cry.
If I see a poignant advertisement on TV, I cry.
I weep in every movie I watch (except for slapstick comedies!)
I cry when I hear beautiful and moving music.
When people tell their stories, when people speak their truths.

It's almost as if I have no barriers to the emotions of others, and whatever they feel, I too feel, only more dramatically. I know that I am an empath, but it seems to be becoming stronger as I get older.

Please help! I don't want to stop feeling, I just want to stop leaking!
