can you ever be blocked from recieving the golden light?

lately for the past couple days, when i try to imagine myself receiving the golden light; it feels as tho something is blocking the energy from entering me;
as if someone was blocking it from me;
it doesnt feel the same way as it used to;
or maybe i am blocking it from myself;
could someone please let me know how to unblock the energy?
can the energy even be blocked at all or is it just my imagination?
