LUCY~ Listen Up Check Yourself

Today ( or yesterday now) I went to a big breast cancer awareness day here in Liverpool.The first time we have had this in England though it has happened In Australia,so some of our Aussie members may know of it.Basically we met at a cricket ground, all wearing pink ponchos, and stood together,making the shape of a womans body ~ Lucy~..An aerial photo will go around the globe to pass the message to all women to check themselves for any lumps or changes in their breasts.It was quite emotional for me as I have two friends, sisters, one has passed because of breast cancer, one has survived it. My friend who died was very much in my thoughts, and the surviving sister was there with me, as was Reikijan. I hear that there were 5000 people at the event and so far it has raised 60,000 pounds for the Linda McCartney Breast Cancer Centre here in Liverpool.More to come I imagine from the sponsor forms.A good day despite heavy rain!
