Really need help, white/golden light dream!

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here. I have been on my spiritual path for a pretty long time now. Just feeling very confused and always asking why we are here. Well the other night I prayed for a long time to have the veils lifted and receive some kind of guidance. My dream started off with me in some type of village. Very old Europe type. I was standing by a low rock/stone wall and I could tell there was a river on the other side. Not flowing fast or anything but it was there. I was holding a glass vile that looked like a test tube almost and it was filled with white flowers. I then heard what appeared to come out of nowhere a loud booming voice that said "If asked for the light you shall be given the light, those that ask receive the light 3 fold", and the vile lit up with white/golden light as well as my body and I felt tremendous love and warmth. Then the voice said something else which was odd it said "The basilisk comes forth and he too shall be filled with the light". Then that was it. That was the end of the dream. I'm not real sure what to make of it.

My religious background is that I was raised in a Southern Baptist atmosphere. Though I do not follow that. Right now I'm trying to find the truth. It can be somewhat hard in this world given all the religions and organized religions, lies, fear, and just pure non love. However I'm still searching. If anyone has any input as to what this dream might mean I'd greatly appreciate it.
