Organic Gardening; music; reading; being outside near moving water, boulders and trees; camping - prefer RV to tent ;>) ; travel; getting together with friends and like minded souls; using therapeutic grade essential oils and teaching others how to use them; performing healing sessions and teaching others how to heal themselves; and of course, hugging my delicious, delctable, delightful grand-daughter and watching her grow!

Creating:
I want to create a self sustaining campground for the spiritual minded to hold gatherings, classes, workshops and to just get away for a few days. there will be camp sites avialable for tents to RV's with a community bath house (with running water...) and kitchen facilites. there will also be gardens and labrynth for meditation. also, hiking and exploring trails; a covered pavillion to hold 25-50 people; indoor area for classes and workshops; a couple of cabins and/or cob structures for attendees or helpers to sleep/live; an indoor and outdoor "chapel" for services to be held - like weddings, etc. I will also have my home there along with gardens for food and flowers, fruit and nut trees, probably some chickens if i still eat eggs then (chickens who will have to live long happy lives because i won't eat them!) and perhaps a couple of sheep for milk/cheese/yogurt and wool. I have often thought of creating a spiritual center - this incorporates that but with the added dimension of being a place where people who just want to go camping and just relax for a while to refresh themselves can go without the intent of attending any classes/worshops/seminars. of course healing sessions will be available too!

Awakening:
I have explored spirituality for most of my adult life but didn't really pursue it until my mother transitioned in 2001 - that was probably the push I needed. It could have been the realisation that life is too short and i didn't want to "waste" any more time. Many things shifted after that: I found Reiki in 2003, took a trip to UK with Andrew Steed to sacred sites in 2004. That trip exposed me to so many new ideas and ways of being I had never experienced before - I really became more in touch with the earth through my spirit then. So many wonderous things have happened throughout my life, and I finally have the eyes to see and the ears to hear. and the journey continues. woohoo!
