Today's Angel Message : Money & Abundance issues

Dear Ones,

We spoke of becoming comfortable with the idea of having money. For many of you, this is a hard task, for money has become equated with ideas of wrongness.

Many in the world regard those with wealth as being somehow impure, unloving, unwilling to interact with those less wealthy. It is certainly true that some people of wealth are all of these things; it is also true that some people of poverty are equally so.

Money does not create the heart, but the heart creates the pattern for one's interactions in the world. Money cannot create a new pattern for a person, but only provide the means to live a pattern in a way perhaps not possible before.

For example, a miserly person who is poor would not be seen as miserly, for the circumstances demand care with the resources on hand. Given wealth, however, this person's refusal to spend money generously would become apparent. In the same way, a person who is aloof and poor might not be seen as regarding himself or herself as better than others but only as one who is humble or a person of few words. Given great sums of money, though, such people would find it easy to use this tool to express their belief in their own superiority to others.

It is an untruth that wealthy people are particularly unlawful or ungenerous or unresponsive to others. For every corrupt or aloof person of wealth, there are hundreds or thousands of prosperous people who are good and loving people, people you would respect. If you knew the wealth of those in your circles, you would be surprised, not only by how much money some possess, but also by how little others have!

So allow yourself to be unimpressed by signs of wealth, for they may signify nothing more than the degree of indebtedness of another. Certainly, the amount of money in the bank does not indicate the heart of a person. Generous and loving people who gain money remain generous and loving. Angry and aloof people who gain money remain so.

So, today think of your good qualities. How would your prosperity allow you to embody them more fully? What are your challenges? How can prosperity assist you in surmounting them?

View money as merely a means, dear Ones. View it for the good it can help people accomplish. Allow yourself to welcome the idea of more money flowing into your lives, and watch how opportunities will arise for you to earn, save, or invest your money wisely!
