"Why do we get ill?..."

Trinity's picture

Remembering who we are
For aeons human beings have been yearning for liberation from pain and suffering. Manifested as lack of confidence, inner turmoil, muscular tension, illness or physical and mental disease there is a reason for all disharmony. For any of this to make sense we must first recognise that we are on a journey of evolution that transcends the bounds of physical, mental and emotional limitations and that we are all interconnected. To separate ourselves from the whole and deny this is to create dis-ease...

Are you faced with tough choices in life?
Recently I've found myself having to make some seemingly very difficult decisions in life. As I look more widely around me it strikes me that we're all going to be faced with some tough choices as the global economy moves into increasingly troubled waters. Of course at the highest level we create our reality including especially those difficult decisions. So why do we create such experiences? Are we having some great cosmic joke at our own expense? How can we make it more easy for ourselves to decide and find the best pathway forwards in life?

Why is everyone happy here except me?

Sharing some words of wisdom from Anthony De Mello.
Spot on!
Sending heartfuls of Love to you all!

"Why is everyone here so happy except me?"
"Because they have learned to see goodness and beauty everywhere," said the Master...

"Why don't I see goodness and beauty everywhere?"
"Because you cannot see outside of you what you fail to see inside."

Am I dreaming?

I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man.

Conscious Cottage Pie (dairy/meat free alternative to shepherds pie)

Trinity's picture

Here is a delicious dairy free/meat free alternative to shepherds pie. It received a big thumbs up at our dining table the other day and has been eagerly requested again since (always a good sign)... I've used 'mugfuls' as a measurement, which would be an average sized coffee mug, since I don't have any kitchen scales. One of my latest creations.
Enjoy!

Heart Shaped 'Out There' Oatcakes
These are simple savoury cracker type food and go down really well with soup (try cosmic conut and pumpkin if you haven't already ;-), or hummous, salad etc. They don't last five minutes on our dining table.

Honouring the Sacred Cycle

Trinity's picture

Moontime is a name given to the ‘menstrual period’ of the female cycle. It feels to me a beautiful description and speaks of the natural cyclical rhythm of this sacred time. It is often referred to in this way in Native American and Druid circles. In such bygone cultures it has been honoured by male and female alike, acknowledging the fact that we are all influenced and effected by this profoundly beautiful act of nature. It seems society has lost perspective and true understanding of this natural cycle. You might be interested therefore in this personal sharing...
