Anemia has been a problem for me for over 30 years. I have never had the cause investigated so far. I had only been told that it was due to pregnancy or breastfeeding and been given ferrous gluconate after other iron supplements tried were way too hard on my stomach. Even ferrous gluconate has made its bad effect on my stomach obvious, after taking them for the passed 30 years.
