I have found that for the past few months I am totally attuned to music. I have loved music all of my life, but now it seems to be as important to me as the air that I breath or the food that I eat. It seems that only music can provide nourishment to my spirit.

Oh my.. I have been chanting, ooommmmming, practicing non-judgment, manifesting love and joy.. and trying very hard to be a good lightworker for the past few months.. and it didn't work..lol.

Boxes... I think that maybe the titles we choose to give ourselves create the boxes within our lives.

I jump in and out of boxes every day. I have boxes called mother, grandmother, volunteer, supervisor, employee, partner, friend, antagonist, catalyst, victim, rescuer, caretaker, minister, Unitarian Universalist, Pagan, Lightworker and a dozen others.

I have spent most of my adult life in the search for knowledge. My friends call me a walking encyclopedia. I have wandered through tomes and tomes of new age material, studied ancient religions, and taken and taught classes on just about every subject from Angels to Zen.

Duality.. I keep getting kicked by that word. Almost every blog I read about ascension tells me that I am doing it wrong if I don't give up that bugaboo...DUALITY.

Fact is.. I don't want to give up duality.. I like the idea of being fully human.. and I don't want to do it any other way. Duality allows me to feel and experience a whole gambit of emotions.. both good and bad.

I am currently re-reading a book called "The Ages of Gaia by James Lovelock. It is a fascinating read and I would highly recommend that all earth-conscious people give it a go.

There is one part that I would like to quote.. It really hit home for me:

God..

That is a word that gets thrown around a whole lot in our world.. sometimes in a holy or sacred context and othertimes in exasperation..lol.
It is probably the most commonly used form of language to describe a higher power. The ancient people talked about Gods and Goddesses.. and eventually all those Gods and Goddesses got condensed into one deity.

This is just something I thought I would throw out there...When we ascend into a higher level of consciousness will that change the way that we feel about our significant other, spouse, soulmate etc.?

First of all in order to clarify the rest of this post, I guess I have to make a statement of what it is I do believe or don't believe.

I just had the opportunity to travel with a dear friend of mine to New York City. We stayed at his friend's house in Hackansack, New Jersey and spent an entire day traveling through Greenwich Village, Central Park, Times Square, and the East and West sides. Surprisingly, there really weren't a whole lot of people wandering through.. most likely because it was a Sunday.
