A grassroots idea-- Because a single acorn can build a forest-- PLEASE READ

Dear Lightfamily,

As I write to you, it is 6am. I don't ever get up this early if I don't have to, but this couldn't wait.

I woke up with an idea that seemed awfully small, but in some way radical. I decided I needed to get to work right away.

I am subscribed to many activist campaigns that innundate my inbox with petitions everyday. I used to click to 'sign' them all with the pre-written petition because there were just so many. Every once in awhile I'd add a personal statement, always positive. Recently, I've begun ignoring them figuring "no one is listening anyway."

My radical idea this morning was, what if I start taking the time to write a personal message on all of them, and bless each of the political leaders that these petitions are addressed to? What if we all did that? Would they be more apt to read them if they were filled with messages of love and blessing? Who doesn't like to be blessed, no matter how hard their hearts may 'appear' to be?

With the blessing that has always gone on here, and even more lately, I know you all know what it feels like to be blessed by people and how it can lift your heart. A blessing is also an ego boost, something our political leaders, as well as your average person, surely likes.

The only way to change the world, as you all know, is with love and blessings.

Is our future written in stone? Will the prophecies come true no matter what? Or do we have a choice? Is it possible still to change things if everyone on the planet chooses LOVE? I am an optimist and surely believe it is. And I've decided it is time to do my part and ask others to do the same.

My question is, would you get behind me on this and ask everyone you know to start paying attention to the political petitions they receive or come across? The ones from Avaaz, One.org, Greenpeace, and a myriad of others. Would you implore them to try, as a zero hour experiment before the election and 2012, answering as many of them as they can and inserting a personal message of blessing? And if you would, would you also pass this along to your contacts and ask them to pass along the same?

I believe I was given this inspiration this morning as a response to prayers I've made. It may seem meager, but way smaller things have become huge with the invention of the internet and the incredible speed at which we can reach people.
