The Creation of Mother Tukannawi

Mother Goddess Tukannawi -

Mother Goddess stirred her cauldron of creation. Humming like a bird the story of creation. She knew the soldiers were coming soon to take her away and shove her into a dark abyss. Never to return. Though all was content in her heart, knowing she could never fight, for she was to one day, liberate her creation from slavery.

The stars grew closer to the earth in a bit of trepidation , knowing soon of the fate to soon befall Tukannawi. The celestial song of stars sung like chimes. Calling out to her.

She ignored the calls, she was dedicated to her creation. “Let’s see, what I can leave my children with,” Tukannawi questioned.

“For everything that has a spark of creation in them I present them with a rainbow,” she said. She broke off a bit of her jeweled crown. A piece of her necklace, part of her love, some of her spirit, tidbit of conception and the scales of her snake. “May the wheels of the rainbow, may it live on inside of them, forever spinning the web of there mother.”

Though she felt this was not enough… “They must master balance, therefore I bestow the elements.” She cupped her hands and gathered water from the heavens. Fire from under the Cauldron, Leafs from her hair, and air from the pit of her stomach. “This is my will, I leave my children. Four guardians to nourish and support them as they support there guardians.”

She tossed the ingredients of her knowledge in the now turbulent cauldron, bubbling and boasting with excitement. Rainfall grew heavier, and the stormy clouds of blue and gray, colored Tukannawi the shade of disaster. The Stars grew worrisome and the celestial choir called out louder to warn her of impending doom.

She knew the language of the stars. They spoke words of Demons crossing the border into her sanctuary. Coming to take the last bit of wisdom, left upon the dry lands. The soldiers have made it a barren womb, but not before Tukannawi had remembered to spin her imagination into creation threw the depths of her body.

She now, looked into the cauldron reflecting the black night sky, and the floating dismal clouds. Tukannawi heard the soldiers screaming, heading over the hill. She started to hum again. She connected with the stars a part of her legacy to watch creation with this her song was born as the song of the heavens struck resonance with her body and parts of her were sent though the atmosphere.

She crumbled, weak from implosion. Tukannawi cried out, when she saw the warriors now surrounding her.

They had now quieted.

She knew before death, there was a grant of last wishes. The goddess spoke, bringing her self up on the side of the cauldron and took a sip of the concoction. “My only desire, is to be your nourishment, it is my will now.” she whispered.

They thrust towards her in angst, stripping her of her cloak and dress, her cherished adornments her hair, and her most her senses.

Down threw the empty valley, sharp jagged rocks and down to the hole. “Now, may all be gone and nothing exist no more,” The lead soldier said, and threw her to the ground. Tukannawi looked into abyss that looked never ending. And before the soldier could kick her, she jumped with deep conviction.

When she stuck the middle of the earth, ending with a sharp blow, the concoction burst from within her, and creation, was born.
