Some Thoughts On Discernment

I paused for a moment of meditation before I began writing this to see if a disembodied being wanted to speak through me but it turned out that I’m going to have to settle for the best my limited mind can create. I’ve been observing channeling for some time with the most open mind I am capable of, which is to say if it doesn’t ring true I question it, and I have some thoughts about using discernment that I wish to share. It is well known that channeling is not a particularly objective and certainly not a left brain process so my analysis might miss the point but I feel both halves of my brain deserve equal rights so I’m going to try to slog my way out of the sopping wet, sticky sweet, smothering emotional manipulation that seems to prevail in channeled information.

The first thing that seems worthy of attention is the fact that all channeled beings exist in an arena that totally lacks accountability. Any channel can give any name to the being who speaks through them and no consistency is apparent, nor do the beings who have incarnated histories seem to have any responsibility to this history. I for one would need to see a lengthy apology and explanation by an entity who claims to be Jesus but instead all I see is empty New Age philosophy from the ultimate master of violent, elitist, authoritarian religion. This goes for Master Kuthumi/Moses/St. Francis and all of the Angelic Hierarchy as well. It appears to me that these beings are merely playing upon a deeply ingrained psychological predisposition to continue the ethic of dominance through the auspices of implied holiness but with no responsibility for the outrageous errors and abuses created by the religions that give them their spiritual weight. Bear in mind that these beings are the source of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam to be specific. For those who don’t know, even Jesus is a minor prophet to Islam, Moses is an important patriarch, and Gabriel had direct contact with Mohammed.

It is instructive to go to the website almost universally posted with these messages to see the money business that the channel offers based on the revelations provided by these representatives of ancient spiritual manipulation. It might be argued that the Ascended Host is merely responding to evolution and feels no need to account for past errors, with the implied premise that the errors were all human faults in interpretation anyway, but it seems to me that some explicit instruction in these matters would be a natural responsibility to holy, perfect beings who were so sadly misinterpreted. As it stands, I can only assume that I am dealing with another dark hierarchy of priests bent on self-interest and personal aggrandizement. I’ve heard and read enough sweet words and promises from human priests to recognize an advertisement for a collection plate and an invitation to subvert my intelligence and will to empty authority.

Then I examine the content of the messages regardless of what name is given to the entity. There seems to be a fairly consistent theme here, with assisted evolution and a higher level of energy coming to Earth, but I question the great love for Earth claimed by these beings who make so much of their ascended superiority beside their unwillingness to incarnate so they might lend a hand in the mud and the blood and the beer among the degenerates who they call equal manifestations of God out of the other side of their mouths. There is also the source of this transforming energy, which is observable to be a physical effect of the solar system traversing the photon belt in the central plane of the galaxy but is claimed to be a great gift of intention by these beings who exist beyond time and space.

No doubt my DNA hasn’t evolved enough to understand the truth in this sleight of hand. I could go on and on with this analysis but I hope you get my drift. I wouldn’t wish to call channels and their ethereal friends con artists since all in all there is an emerging philosophy in their work that I hope will bear fruit. The main point I’m trying to make is that ultimate responsibility comes right home to me or you and everything needs to be questioned carefully and verified, especially the undeniable emotional appeal of life being transformed into a perfect dream made real. After all, the whole point of evolution is to exist in truth with a trustworthy understanding and the ability to create a just, peaceful, and love filled world but it seems to me that there is still a whole lot of evidence that the same old errors of our past are continuing without abatement and I don’t see any perfect, holy beings coming to save us anywhere close by. Seems to me the angels are as given to evolving right along with us and maybe we could get some effective progress underway if they would step off their pedestals and roll up their sleeves to join us so called equal manifestations of God in correcting our mutual errors
