travel, reflection and connections
This last week has been incredibly busy for me, with moments of exquisite beauty!
I went with my family (Mom, Dad and younger brother) across the Midwest, through the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and then down to Grand Rapids, Michigan for my cousin's wedding on Saturday.
The Upper Peninsula (U.P.) was incredible. It was so lovely and refreshing. We stayed in a place called Marquette, Michigan and in the morning went down and watched the sunrise on Lake Superior before our travels for the day. I got an amazing, and I mean AMAZING image that I will share as soon as I upload the photos from my digital camera. There is something very, very special about Lake Superior. It is a rejuvinating body of water, full of calming energies.
Earlier in the week I was messaging with Hannah about the Circle and healing the past on the personal and the collective human levels. That was my focus in the car during the 17 hours I spent riding to Michigan. I was having a chest pain most of the first day we drove, I feel because of the work I was doing releasing the pains of my past. I was also reading two different books that BOTH talk about Indidenous People and their "dreamtime" in which they are conciously experiencing both sides of the veil. This is something that is available for us to remember and experience. Both books talked about communicating without our minds but instead using only our hearts.
I think this is what I do during the Global Circles Meditations. I do not always "see," but I experience the connection and communication to my heart from all of the others participating. I kept getting a name that was like Elizabeth or Emily on Sunday morning, not sure what significance it has.
Anyway, I am losing my train of thought. I will post the photo of Lake Superior as soon as I can. If you have any thoughts or insights please feel free to share them!
With love, from the innermost cavern in my heart,
Carrot
