Pain - Why the need to heal it?
Posted September 14th, 2008 by Utlah
So much is heard of "healing" on this site. Many seemingly very invested in healing the pains of others or preventing the pain of others. If I may, I would question why? Not to insinuate that tis wrong or right but to see what beliefs this is based upon. It seems that the view of the majority is that pain/suffering is to be prevented/avoided and comfort/happy is the much preferred state. Do we heal to relieve the pain of others or because that is what we were taught to do? If it is to heal the pain of others, is that the same as "stopping" the pain? Thank you.
