Preparing to climb the mountain

Personal action : active participant
Setting : Mountain/Caves

I was with a group of 12 other individuals who were seeking to move away from the hustle, bustle and destruction of the city. We banded together in a caravan, gathered our possessions and set out on a journey to the mountains. We met an Indian Guide along the way. The Guide told us of a cave of protection that we could go to. I was leading the procession and was pushing a large recliner chair. Behind me was a stage coach carrying six people, there were no horses drawing it. Trailing behind was the remainder of our group, three two person groups walking.

As we entered the cave I noticed that the floor was dusty with a well worn and clear path down the center. The walls were natural with many contours, not carved out or mined. 100 yards from the entrance was a large cavern with a pool of cool mountain water. The trail passed into and through the pool and emerged into a passage on the other side. The pool was about 7 feet deep in the center. I pushed my chair into the pool and trudged on through, The chair naturally got lighter but it did not float. This caused me to be fully immersed in the center of the pool as I bent down to push the chair onward to the other side and out of the pool. Behind me one of the larger men in the Stage coach got out and pushed the coach into the pool. Straining to move it forward it finally caught buoyancy and floated through the center. With a mighty shove he gained enough momentum to get the coach up an out the other side. Relieved that the hard part, the pool crossing, was complete and confident that the rest of the party would cross without difficulty, I turned to continue deeper into the cave.

After a number of turns I came upon a Mother Wolf with a litter of pups. She was lying just beyond a turn in the cave at the end of a wide cavern. The she wolf was not angry or aggressive towards me and I did not feel any fear in the encounter. But she issued a low growl which I interpreted to mean that we had gone far enough.

We set up camp in the cavern. Out of the stage coach we pulled out lots of technologies, computers and such, which were arrayed on a number of long tables all linked together. We were playing, talking, and sharing games.

Our Indian Guide showed up with some of his tribe. They cooked for us and he spoke about our upcoming climb to the top of the mountain. He said that his tribe had helped many others before us and that the path gets easier and clearer with each passing. He said that we were to spend the next few days relaxing, bathing, and immersing ourselves completely in the mountain pool that we had crossed. This was necessary in order to prepare ourselves prior to our ascent.

I woke up.

Any clues??????
