explanations are the life of your problems

what came first, the action or the rational? we tend to have these long twisted reasons why we do things but have you ever actually thought....what was I really thinking that caused said action? sure there are things we ponder over intensely before we do them but at least to me it seems like majority of what actually causes us to act has nothing to do with any long line of reasoning. this leads to something that bounces around my head quite a bit.....explanations are the life of your problems. living from the ego's operating system causes us to try to fit everything into those parameters because, God forbid someone actually ask us why we did something and we have no explanation. we become that 'first line of defense' trying to make everything pallatable for our ego's, the ego's around us and big ego. its usually not what's actually in front of your face, its the mystery of what could be that is so fucking controlling. how much time do you spend rationalizing your actions?
