Amounts of blogs per person per day
Hello all.
I just wanted to bring something up.
I love reading the blogs and so many of you have such wonderful things to say.
However, I'm finding if there are more than 3 blogs by the same person in the same day, I end up not reading any of them by that person. I don't want to do that because many times there is great information given by that person.
Also, when that happens, the page of "new blogs" seems to be filled with so many entries by the same person, thus making others who post maybe one or two a day go over to the next page.
When people only have a certain amount of time to peruse the blogs, I think they tend to look at the page of recent blogs to see what's new. So many people post such personal stuff that would be great to see more comments on.
I know when people post really personal stuff that they really want comments or suggestions on, it's disheartening when there are so many other blogs to compete with to get people's attention. In this case the person may not get the answer to their question or dilemma because the person who may have had that answer for them was overwhelmed by all the other blogs and didn't get to read it.
Again, I appreciate all that everyone brings to the table- be it a personal blog, or something that is re-posted from another article. It is all great and all valued. But is it possible to limit it to maybe 3 per person per day or something? Just so all blogs get an equal chance to get attention by all blog readers.
I'm one of those who reads and comments on blogs more than I write them, and don't want to overlook something that I could have something to contribute to.
Just something to think about.
In gratitude for all of you and this site.
Aloha,
Amanda
