faith, judgement, acceptance, unconditional love, respect, responsibility
so here i am again in virutal world where i am supposedly free from judgment, but i'm not. i don't take it personally either. like i've said before - it's none of my business what you think of me. however, there are so many judgements happening here that it's getting a bit uncomfortable for me. not that i'm feeling judged, but because being judgmental is a form of avoiding our own work. distract ourselves from ourselves with other peoples garbage. well that's not what i thought this space was about. this is supposed to be a space where we are all free to BE.
so here i go again sharing some teachings i carry, i hope you find wisdom somewhere in these words:
the core teachings i recieved from my cree/sioux elders go something like this:
1) have faith in only yourself and your creator
2) do not judge yourself, do not judge others
3) accept yourself and all that is
4) love yourself and all that is unconditionally
5) respect yourself and all that is
6) we are responsible for our own words, thoughts and actions
so from what i can see, there are many people here that are out of sync with these universal truths. most of the judgements stem from people's inability to accept, respect, love, be responsible for and not judge themselves.
an important thing to note is that all the teachings start with the self. it is put this way for a reason, we need to work on ourselves first. if we are to continue here in a good way, we need to work on these aspects and to start we need to be kind and gentle with ourselves. what difference does it make to you if:
- my breast shows on my profile pic
- im on antidepressants
- i have 6 toes
- i have a 3rd nipple
- i have six toes
all the drama results when we take loving words personally because we're not ready to hear them, so we shoot the messenger. well i'd like to suggest that we are all adults and can be responsible for ourselves. so how about in the future, if we read something we resist, we sit on it a while before we start pointing fingers and see why we are so resistant. im taught that what we resist the most controls our life. let go of fear, embrace the light and one another. together we can make the world a better place.
much love and many blessings,
