mirrors, relections and projections

i've been sensing some discourse here for a while. tension building up between members here. i don't want to upset anyone any further, but i do need to share some of my teachings with you all:

-we can only be responsible for our own words, thoughts and actions

-words only have power to harm us if we give the words power

-we allow people to irritate us, provoke us, and attack us

-that which we resist the most is what we fear the most

-what we fear the most controls us

-we give our power away when fear rules our lives

-what we dislike most about others, is a reflection of what we dislike most about ourselves, and so we are taught to pay special attention to these qualities and people so we can address our deepest darkest issues.

-when we lovingly accept ourselves and others, our fears no longer control us and words have no power over us. Unless of course we make the same choices

-when we say "oh, soandso said blahblahblah" and i'm so angry. its time to ask ourselves a few questions: why does this make me angry
am i angry at soandso,or myself
what am i supposed to learn from this
where does the anger come from

-before we react to something, we need to take a moment to reflect on the situation. Many times when we act/speak without clearly undersstanding the situation we end up looking like a chile having a tantrum, as adults we need to gather facts and assimilate information before we decide to fight/argu/debate things.

and i could go on for ages, but i'll stop now. that's a lot of teachings at once!
