RAW FOOD - The Future of Food

I just went to a RAW FOOD event which featured a film and talk by the filmmaker
of THE FUTURE OF FOOD http://www.thefutureoffood.com/

It explains what is going on in the food industry in detail.

Including how Mega corporations are buying up all the seeds
so that they only ones available on the market are THEIRS and
the "new" seeds are SUICIDAL. They only live for one generation
so you have to BUY new seeds.

This is the anti-sustainability model.

It also talked about how farmers in North Dakota I think
were trying to stand up to big industry and how companies
were trying to take them over in really unpleasant ways.

It talked about GMO crops, and how there are some that
are engineered to NOT DIE when an particular HERBICIDE
is put on them. (ROUND-UP)

Food used to be medicine, now it is LITERALLY poison.

They put poison in the food crops so that it LIVES
WHEN YOU PUT -- MORE -- Poison on it to kill the weeds
around it.

IT's CRAZY.

It's expensive to eat organic, but it may be worth it.

I also met some really wonderful HUGFUL people!
