three times lucky, or not?

it's said that every thing comes in threes, three times lucky, i'm sure you're all aware of the cliche in some form or another. so i need to ask what impressions you have about the following 3's in my life:

- i was married 19 years ago today, we haven't been together for 17 years
- met my son's father 7 years ago today
- went on a first date today

so half way through my date i realize the X3 non-coincidence of august 19. then, to compound the non-coincidence, i find out that the fellow is an aries, same as my son's father and my father. neither of whom i have a good relationship with.

i'm a bit confused, astrology says libra and aries are opposites and can be good together, but then i think about my dad and my ex and i freak out. i haven't ever been able to communicate well with either of them, and they both just "ram" their way through my life. this fellow is nothing like either of them from what i can tell and seems to be kind and gentle. however, knowing the charm of the aries males as well as i do, i have wonder if i'm just being naive, hopeful and co-dependent?
