Guardian of the Planet

Some of us have taken on the task of being a guardian of Planet Earth. We can be activists who speak out against her destruction, or workers of magic who use our abilities to bring her energies into harmony with the ascension of the Earth Changes cycle we are currently in. There are scientists who refuse to use their talents and skills for war or to create poisons that would endanger life. There are even religious leaders who are beginning to see the great gulf of difference between husbanding the earth and conquering it, bringing it under dominion to the motivation of greed. Political leaders have become guardians of the planet such as former Vice President Al Gore whose work concerning the global warming issue has brought him a Nobel Peace Prize award. So many of us are not professional anything, just common ordinary people who love and want to protect the planet.
There is not one thing wrong with being common. we put far too much emphasis on fame and fortune as a way of judging a person's worth. We little people have more to offer because we are so open to spirit leading us and every single one of us counts when we join our hearts and voices to the cause of protecting and nurturing the planet that our physical bodies live on.
As we turn away from using polluting chemicals that are changing the bees and other insects so important to the survival of 'higher' life forms on the food chain, toward organic natural ways of fertilizing and pest control, we are guardians. As we do each positive thing toward the development of a world that is filled with the higher energies of peace, love, and light, a world each of us is a cooperative part of- we are guardians.
Some days we face such mountainous odds against us that we might almost despair of reaching our goals yet we persevere for that is what makes us a guardian we are open channels for the Source of all life, open channels for the spirit of Love, Light, Peace, and Truth to heal the planet.
It is not such a difficult thing to be. Nor is it some elititst club only a few may be initiated to. All it takes is a caring heart and willing hands and a mind filled with the energies of the Divine Nature. Just to make the choice and act on it.
