Two little metaphors to ponder upon

I was in bed thinking about life, God and the majesty and immensity of creation,
And was inspired with these two little simple metaphors I’ll share with you,
First:
We are a hungry supermarket shopper who has entered it list in hand with and in and out resolve.
As we embark on our little journey we become distracted or unfocused and become enticed by the specials of the day. First item on the list is now accompanied by one who wasn’t… (Plan is out the window). We walk down the isle and stop yet again salivating as we stare at an item pondering how good it was last time…on and on we do the same over and over winding up with more stuff and having spent more time than planed.
Remind you of something?
Second one:
We are individual fibers part a fiber optic ball, living under the impression that we are not connected at the core. As we go about our business we (glass fibers) feel much joy and pride as we display beautiful colors and light that emanate from within. Living unaware that at the very center of the core, in peaceful silence, giving it freely and unselfishly is the source of the light and of the infinite variety of splendorous colors for all with no exception to receive and share.

Wishing you Divine Love,
Setmir
