Thoughts & Experiences - August 1, 2008 (Vegetable Garden)
So it seems that the titter-tottering continues and fatigue is clearly evident amongst many. Trust me hold on for the ride it seems to be getting more and more exciting, the peeks and drops are quite amusing. I am happy to report that the feelings of uncertainty are more subdued, even transparent at times. Is it just me or does it feel as if we are looking through a glass window, looking from the outside in. Once again I am pleasantly surprised at how good this actually feels. Surprisingly it really does feel good at times to be distant, or to ‘check out’, you should all try it. I am starting to realize that it is best to allow things to flow as they are intended to flow. Can you really change the direction of a strong current of water, a gushing rapid of water? You can try but I can bet you it will not work because the force is so strong and that is where the water is intended to go. The infamous quote of Bruce Lee really hits home! I say toss the canoe in the water and enjoy the trip, go in which ever direction the water leads you.
Imagine a garden, a vegetable garden. In the beginning of the season we start working on the garden. We make modifications based on last year’s crop a few things are added and a few are deleted. Then we start on the soil, turning and plowing it for this year’s vegetable plants. So much love goes into this process that you can hear the soil talking back to us. Digging and digging knowing that this year’s garden is going to be beautiful. Now we add some more soil, some fresh soil to blend in with the existing soil. We even add in some manure, cow or sheep it doesn’t really matter because they smell just the same. The plants come next, carefully selected, gently cared for before they are planted. A few more loving thoughts are exchanged with the plants that are going to provide an abundance of fresh vegetables for us to enjoy. The shovel and pick are pulled from the ground and the water begins to work its magic. We stand attentively waiting as the water finds its way to the plants. It is now best not to interfere with what will happen naturally. The water will feed and the sunlight will shine down with much needed attention. The soil will begin to comfort the growing needs of the plants. We will assist as much as we can and when we can but primarily our job is complete and now we allow the flow of life to happen.
Not hundred percent sure why this popped into my thoughts this morning but I think it goes well with the idea of us sitting back and allowing things to flow. We must enjoy the fruits of our labor and we should not rush something for short term pleasures. We cannot force anything for in doing so we are not allowing the Loving vibration that surrounds us to flow. Our light and love is now merging with the Loving vibration and we need to allow things to unfold as they are meant to unfold. How do we do this, how do we sit back, we just live, we just stay in the moment. Take if from me it feels so blissful to watch how things unfold, through love everything is love. We are ‘love’ my brothers and sisters, we don’t need to find love when love is who we are. This year our garden has been doing wonderful and I think that’s because we are allowing the flow of life to happen! I am so looking forward to enjoying a nice red tomato.
Namaste, Peace and Love!
