Portal? A rip in Reality?

Something odd and fascinating happened to me and my sister today as we were heading back home from "shopping". We were about 15 minutes from home, driving down the highway when, for a split second, it seemed as the world had tried to split itself.

It was a line, running at an angle and as quickly as it grew apart that it quickly went back together. I was like O_O!!!!! OMG! I freaked out! But a good freaking out, not like a terrified freaking out. I asked my sister if she had seen it and she asked "what" and I told her and she was like "Oh yeah, that happened to me before, and I thought it was just lightening." it had been at night when she saw it.

So I turned around and tried to see if it would do it again and it didn't. My sister thought perhaps we tried to go through a protal. Hm, possibly. I don't know. But it was amazing!

Any thoughts on this?
