Three New Formations
1. West Woods, Lockeridge, Wilts.
17th July 2008 - Wheat

This remarkable formation caused a wave of intense interest in the crop circle world. The design has an almost free-hand feel to it and we have had nothing of it's like before. Based around a classic quintuple design, large 'tongues of fire' emanate from the centre.
Of particular interest was the centre ring, which on the morning of it's appearance, was absolutely intact with no trace of anyone having been in the centre circle itself. Deeply moved by this Michael Glickman has written about this event in his latest Wheat from the Chaff BLOG. Sadly, this ring was tramped by over eager visitors within hours of it's arrival. And this is a matter of concern on several levels both symbolically and with regard to damaging the farmers crop.
2. Devil's Den, Fyfield, Wilts.
20th July 2008 - Late Barley

Devil's Den is in fact a small stone Dolmen (two upright stones bridged by a lintel) which sits in Clatford bottom near Fyfield in Wiltshire. This simple but lovely formation appeared close to the ancient stone monument on the 20th July in late Barley. The date is interesting, as the last time a formation appeared close to the Dolmen in 1999, it also appeared on July 20th.
3. Hill Farm, by West Woods, Lockeridge, Wilts
20th July 2008 - Wheat

This amazing formation appeared just a stones throw from formation number 1 at West Woods. A series of interlocking circles creating the familiar Vesica Pisces shape, this formation has been likened to a row of owls, or perhaps a series of 'all-seeing' eyes.
