Forgiveness Prayer

:) So, I have this prayer that I used to forgive many situations/ people etc. in my life. I found it useful... maybe someone else out there will. I modified mine a bit to suit me... so you can do whatever feels good to you. This can be a guideline or an example. What I liked about doing this was I had to write it all down on paper and then I really loved the part with talking to the higher self of that person. (well, I didn't love it at the time... but after it was over and looking back at it all). But it was good for me to release or say what I felt I wanted to say to that person. It typically started out as anger, then being sad and crying and then sending them love and being at peace with them. It was after doing this that I realized that the people that "hurt" me didn't intentionally hurt me. It wasn't really them. Who they really are is Love. And I was able to see that in them while spilling it all out to them. So it really changed perspectives on a lot of situations in my past. I also did it for myself. I spoke to the child within. Now... that moved mountains! It was really good. And I was seriously amazed as to how much Lighter I felt. I dropped a lot of baggage with doing this one and have been rapidly growing since.

Forgiveness Prayer

Create a time line of people and events that have caused you pain. You must forgive them and offer them gratitude for the learning and erase the lessons from your Book of Life in order to be free of them. To be free of them, means you are free to love, create, heal, manifest your hopes, dreams and desires.

One by one take the person and event and imagine them sitting in front of you in their Higher Self form, in their Lightness of Being, in their inherent Goodness and clear out. Tell them whatever needs to be said; unspoken words, how you feel, etc. Do not censor. Be truthful and empty out your stuck, hard emotions.

When you are done, address the Higher Self of that person and say:

“I call upon the Higher Self of____(ie person who caused you pain).

If you have knowingly or unknowingly caused me pain, past, present, or future, I forgive you now. If I have knowingly or unknowingly caused you pain past, present, or future, I ask your forgiveness now. And this is so.

I forgive myself. I forgive you. I forgive the others. I forgive God. I completely forgive now. And this is so.

By the Light of God that I am, I intend that all mistakes between us known or unknown, seen or unseen, visible or invisible, conscious or unconscious are now undone and permanently erased from all our books and records from our point of origin all the way into infinity. And this is so.

I am grateful to you for this learning but ask now that our lessons be re-written to show unconditional love, peace, harmony and safety. And this is so.

By the light of God that I am, I intend that all helpless feelings and negative effects past, present and future, known or unknown, seen or unseen, visible or invisible, conscious or unconscious are now instantly transmuted into Love for us all through the power of the Violet Flame. And this is so.”
