Joy and its relation to sending light and love

A post in one of the other sections has again triggered my thoughts on how joy works in relation to the act of sending light and love. Firstly, I need to qualify what I mean by 'joy' here. Whether this is 'joy' or not is unprovable of course, but for the sake of the discussion I need a label of some kind. The best way for me to explain what it means to me is to ascribe some characteristics to it. To me, joy loves to play. It loves to tickle, and laugh and dance. It loves to see others laughing. It loves to see others lighten up. It loves colour and vibrancy. It loves ease and flow. It loves to see others play. It loves to spread joy to others. And it understands that the highest form by which joy can be be spread is through empowering others. Through allowing and teaching personal responsibility. And this is why I believe the act of sending light and love is unhelpful.

Now let me just be clear from the off. Im not saying its WRONG to send light and love. To me, its perfect whether you do or dont. I just believe that the strategy of sending light and love is not helpful in achieving our own personal goals of joy and peace. And thats because I believe that when we send unasked for light and love we actually take away the personal responsibility of those at the end of it. We disempower them. And this includes Mother Gaia, who cant even turn round and say 'piss off!' Based on my understanding of what joy is to me, it is hard for me to see how sending unasked for light and love can come from what I understand to be joy. And if it doesnt come from joy, then on some level, it has to come from fear, and therefore creates more fear and imbalance. I believe that for many, the fear is in trusting in the perfection of God and the universe. The fear is in allowing ALL possibilities. The fear is in surrendering control. The fear is of handing over our lives, our sense of purpose, our sense of self, and even our existance. In my experience, all these fears need to be faced in order to achieve joy and peace. Furthermore, there are many lightworkers on here who send light because they see it as their job to send light. But is it not possible that when you let go of your job, you will become an even greater spreader of light?

I want to say a word here on guidance. Quite often I hear people say that their guides/angels told them to send light. I believe that our guides are here for us lightworkers to empower us and teach us personal responsibility. That might mean sending us down a seemingly 'bad' route. They want us to face our fears because they understand that we need to face them in order to move beyond them. Our guides/angels cannot do our work for us, they can only show us how to take the quickest route to empowerment. My understanding is that in a 5D world we have no need for our guides anymore. We ARE the guidance. We ARE the universal flow. Our guides are pointless at this stage. Im definitely not saying to NOT follow their guidance, I definitely believe its helpful to follow it while you need it. Im just saying that their guidance isnt always the one which will bring you most joy in the short term.

This subject has been a constant source of discussion since I first came here. I feel that part of the argument comes from a belief that there is a right way or a wrong way. The wonderful thing about this website is that its an endless source of strategies which are offered to us with the intention of helping us to achieve joy and peace. There is no right or wrong one. All I am doing here is presenting my strategy, and you are free to take it or leave it of course. I have said this before, but trying to bake a cake in the fridge does not seem to me to be the most effective way of getting a tasty cake. However, I might be wrong, and people's tastes are all different! The best we can do is say, 'well this is the way that I am doing it right now'.

Yours in joy,
Andrew
