GOOD MORNING ALL!

What will today bring? I don't know. I will soon jump in the shower, sing to my heart's content, put on a bit of slap and set off with Jack for our morning walk. I'm loving my walks now because this is a very scenic part of Liverpool, it's hilly and the roads are interesting with lots of little houses tucked away in places where you don't expect them! I'm so lucky to be here and have the chance to explore it. Everywhere I look there are trees, trees and more trees and lots of green spaces.

Amazingly the pain in my ribs has almost gone, just a twinge now and then. I continued to walk as soon as I was able, even though I was a bit shaky after the fall but I needed some shock absorbing shoes because every step I took jarred my ribs so I bought a great pair of those plastic 'jelly' shoes that are popular now. They're lime green so people can see me in the dark! But boy are they comfy! They're wonderful shock absorbers, like walking on air and so I was able to continue with my walks. Every day I walk further and further and feel more and more energised and fitter. Even the arthritis in my feet is improving. Thank God for jelly shoes even if they are lime green! And thank God for Jack, my little friend who despite his tiny frame actually does pull me along and has become my personal trainer!

But my personal trainer is still asleep now, he likes to sleep late in the mornings and I disturb him because I'm an early riser and he lets me know he's annoyed by following me around for a bit staring at me through bleary eyes that say "Awwwww not yet! Just ten more minutes under the quilt ... pleeeeeeeeeease!"

Dogs eh ?
