Repost: To be informed is not to be in fear!

To be informed is not to be in fear.

One area of great concern to the lightwarrior, is something that could
be of detriment to our comrades, the lightworker. I have observed time
and again, that whenever a lightwarrior posts something or talks of
something that simply cannot be ignored, they are automatically accused
of spreading fear. A good case in point that is common in both
chatrooms and on messageboards. Lightwarriors often keep in touch with
current trends, i.e. happenings in the news. Most often, the news will
come from alternative sources, such as independent news sites, or maybe
even a site that could be considered a conspiracy site. Many
lightworkers won't "resonate" with this, and will turn on the poster.

This is a disturbing, and dangerous trend. As lightworkers and
lightwarriors, we cannot ignore what is around us. It is fine to stay
within your peaceful space-- after all, we have to exist in love, and
not fear, and staying centered is important. However, to refuse to hear
something "bad" because it does not "resonate", or because it "spreads
fear" is dangerous and wrong. To be informed and to spread information
is not the same as being in fear and spreading fear. For one to stick
their fingers in your ears and go "lalala" while someone is addressing
an issue of importance solves nothing-- if anything, it sets those
people up for a very bad fall, as they will be totally clueless if and
when these scenarios do occur. To ignore these issues is the same as
being in denial-- that if we don't think about them, they will go away.
I am not saying that all lightwarriors or the info we post is always
correct, but all I ask is the same that lightworkers ask of others when
they speak: an open mind, and an open heart. At least HEAR what we have
to say. If it does not resonate, fine. At least you will have heard--
and if you do find yourself in a situation previously discussed, then
maybe you will have retained enough of that information that could save
you time and trouble, and heaven forbid-- might even save your life.

Don't stick your heads in the sand. Love and light is wonderful, but it
takes more than that in these times in which we live. It takes
diligence, preparation, and guts. It takes information, sticking
together, and being prepared.

To be informed, is not not to be in fear.
