The GOLDen Project: Article II, Unity Principles

In its simplest terms, the UNITY PRINCIPLE is the acknowledgement of a great truth, ONLY GOD EXISTS. Or, Every Thing that exists is GOD. And, No Thing can exist outside or separate from GOD. Given that the above statements are true and since we recognize ourselves as existing, we can only conclude that we, too, are part of GOD. Also, since we recognize everything which is apparently outside of our bodies (Other people, Earth, moon, trees, gnats, rocks, etc.) as existing, we can likewise conclude that all of IT is part of GOD, as well. Now, since we know that we are individually part of GOD and we also know that everything else is also part of GOD, then we must conclude that, although unseen, something must exist that connects all these things together. In 3D “reality” anything unseen is considered nothing or non-existent. Therefore, all of this No-thing that connects us, must also be a part of GOD. Finally, we conclude that We, along with everything else and that great No-Thing that connects us all together is a part of GOD.

I would like to speak, briefly, to this Great No Thing that I mentioned. What is this No-thing, Thing, of which I speak? Perhaps, the most important part of this No-thing is God’s Consciousness. Consciousness is one of the most wonderful aspects of God. It can be divided and sub-divided into an infinite number of sizes and combinations. Each one represents a different and unique perspective, thus creating a different identity.

I like to visualize the phenomenon of consciousness and perspective as bowls submerged in the ocean. Think of the ocean as God’s consciousness and the bowls as individual life forms. All the bowls are different shapes and sizes. As they submerge in the ocean they are filled with some of the ocean’s water. They descend deeper into denser waters and scatter across the ocean floor. Some have landed upside down completely trapping their water within. Others land upright or within larger bowls. The depth of God’s consciousness and perspective is unchanged by the bowls. The water in the bowls is still connected to and accessible from God’s perspective. God created the bowls to allow God to assume new perspectives of Itself, Even though the bowls are initially filled with the consciousness of GOD, over time, the consciousness begins to forget the open ocean. Its perspective within the bowl causes it to see only within the confines of the bowl. With its vision cut off, its thoughts create the illusion of separation. Trapped within the illusion of separation it creates a new limited perspective. A limited perspective creates a limited Identity. Only God could think of a way to remain God and forget that he was God at the same time. How wonderful is that??? The bowl’s identity might think that it is separate from God, but in fact it can never be truly separate. By reducing the density of its thought, it rises upward in the bowl. Pondering that which lies beyond the rim, enables it to peek out and gaze upon its larger truer self. Only then, freed from the confines of the bowl, can it expand its consciousness and regain its larger identity.

Scientists recognize the existence of consciousness but Science is extremely handicapped in its ability to study this thing. In many ways it is immeasurable. How do you measure the power of a thought, or the depth of awareness in an individual, much less in a group, city, country, or the world? It is a great unseen. When you recognize and accept the existence of a larger consciousness you begin to expand into that greater consciousness. Your definition of self has to expand as your consciousness expands. It is all about consciousness. This is true evolution. The evolution of a physical form in nature is just our movement into a larger bowl. The bigger game, God’s game, is the ever expanding consciousness game. There is so much more to the Great No-thing and it is the glimpse of it, in spite of our physical senses, that allows us to venture into it.

Once expanded into a larger consciousness we see that: We are GOD. And You are GOD. And I am GOD. And a tree is GOD. And a Gnat is GOD. And a Rock is GOD… It is through this process of Logic, that we gain the higher perspective, which allows us to redefine ourselves. I can no longer think of myself as merely an individual. I must consider myself to be connected to everything else and therefore, part of a greater me. Under this new definition, my intent to profit from some action becomes the intent to profit the whole of me, knowing that as a part of the larger me, my individuality will naturally profit. This new definition of self changes everything. When we begin to define and express ourselves from this higher perspective, hate turns to compassion, fear turns to acceptance, anger turns to patience, and envy turns to joy. Your team becomes every team and you always win. When our collective self begins to define and express itself from this higher perspective, war will turn to peace, the Earth will be healed, hunger will turn to healing, and the world’s suffering will turn to joy. Your country becomes the world and your world always wins.

FUNCTIONALITY, ADAPTABILITY, and SUSTAINABILITY.

First, let’s look at these keynotes as they apply to products and services based on Duality principles.

FUNCTIONALITY: The ability to function, to be functional, to serve a purpose, to satisfy a need, and to work according to intent.
Let’s say that our intent is to create a door out of beech wood which we can manufacture at a low cost, so we can sell it and make a large profit on each door.
“Does our creation express functionality with respect to our intent?”
Well, unless we make a door that will not open or stays shut, it will probably function alright.
And, unless we make a tiny door and try to sell it to big people, it will probably serve a purpose.
And, unless we are making wooden doors for people who live in tents, it will probably satisfy a need.
A finally, unless it costs us more on average to produce the door than we can sell it for, it will certainly make us a profit.
So, YES, our door expresses functionality. This is not surprising, we been creating functional products for years. That’s old school!

ADAPTABILITY: The ability to Adapt, the ability to change in order to keep pace with the functionality requirements.
Traditionally, adaptability has been used to expand the product line, and today the number and variety of doors is breathtaking. Adaptability generally refers to the particular style of the door rather than its intended purpose. Again the doors created under current industry are highly adaptable. We have mastered this task as well.

SUSTAINABILITY: The ability to stay in business.
Traditionally, sustainability meant business sustainability. Issues regarding business sustainability (lack of resources, competition, prices, profits, etc) were merely indicators of the need to adapt. All sustainability problems were dealt with as adaptability problems. For instance, if we ran out of beech trees we might simply change our intent to construct doors out of ash or oak. If our individual country ran out of forests, we would simply start a war with our neighbors, take over their forests and adapt. Technology has done much to mask sustainability issues. I recently heard a comment from an executive in the lumber industry. He was asked how his company would cope with increases in the demand for cheap lumber with respect to the decrease in the world’s forest. He said that they were working on creating a synthetic wood-like material by exploiting other resources. He clearly has not learned the sustainability lesson yet. In fact, sustainability issues only came to light when the world’s population increased enough to impact global demand for Earth’s shrinking natural resources. It is our short sightedness with regard to sustainability, which is at the roots of most of the world’s problems today. World Hunger, Climate change, Peak Oil, Population Growth, Sweat shops, poverty, Wars, etc. are all directly related to sustainability issues.

Today, functionality and adaptability primarily act to support each other. Continued functionality requires adaptability and adaptability must recognize changes in functionality. But, until recently sustainability did not really enter into this equation. Business Sustainability was merely the result of the continual adaptation of functional products. In a sense, the broader concept of sustainability did not exist.

Duality principles summary:

Duality principles invariably promote and focus on the concerns of the individual. (a person, group, business, nation, or corporation) The belief that we are separate has put us in competition with everyone and everything else. “Survival of the fittest”, “Everyman for himself”, and “Only the strong survive”, became the catch phrases for success. But, as the resources of the world shrink in relationship to the population, Sustainability becomes a paramount issue. In short, with out the ability to plunder unlimited resources, Duality based creations are inherently NOT SUSTAINABLE.

What is it; about this concept of separation and dualism, that makes it so appealing?

I believe that the appeal of dualism lies in the promise that there is a winner and that the winner is elevated, even if it is only temporarily, beyond his own limitations. It’s the same reason millions of people play the lottery even though the odds of winning is astronomical. “Somebody is going to win! It might be me!!” This is perhaps the greatest proof of the indomitable nature of the human soul. Time and time again, in the face of overwhelming odds, and defeat after defeat we kept trying. What determination we expressed! And, what stupidity, that we did not learn the truth about ourselves! Perhaps we were just determined to be stupid. But, what we have finally learned is that, no matter how high we raise and praise those few winners among us, it can never compensate for the impact of making Earth and everyone else a loser. As we associate more with our greater self, we consider ourselves to be more than the separate individual. Thus, armed with the expanded definition of self, we can finally see that the only way to win the Duality game is: Not to Play!

Playing the Unity game

Founding principle: Unity or “ONLY GOD EXISTS” from this principle we each can spend many lifetimes deriving an infinite number of fundamental concepts: But, for our immediate purposes, I will concentrate on just a few, from the human perspective and within the scope of our own planet.

• “Individuals and Humanity are one”
• “Individually and collectively, humans are connected to and dependant on each other”
• “Humanity and all Earth systems are one” (Note: see below)
• “Humanity and all Earth systems are connected and dependant on each other”
• “Humanity and all other life forms are one”
• “Humanity and all other life forms are connected and dependant on each other”

(Note: By Earth systems I am referring to environmental elements i.e. atmosphere, oceans, land masses mountains, etc.)

From each of these concepts, additional unity statements will be derived. It is tempting in this higher perspective to concentrate more on the collective, but I believe that it is very important to hold the individual in as much respect as we do the collective to which it is a part. So, in moving to the collective consciousness, we must maintain the relationship between individual consciousness and all progressively larger collective consciousnesses (i.e. family, community, nation, world or galactic member). In this way, we assure both the sovereignty rights of the individual human, elemental, or other life form, as well as the rights of the collective (human, environmental and other life form).

Our keynotes now become a balanced tool set through which we can measure our creations with regard to the Unity principles.

FUNCTIONALITY: still applies to the product or service as before, but due to our expanded definition of self we must expand our intent. Profit must now include the whole of humanity, our environment and all other life forms. Our expanded intent forces us to consider the need to be adaptable in order to insure the sustainability of these greater aspects of our selves. Functionality, not only applies to the usefulness of the product, but also strives to support an ever increasing quality of all Life. (The greater good)

ADAPTABILITY: is likewise expanded from the narrow product level, to include all the processes though which the product’s production is made possible. Therefore, in order to maintain Functionality and Sustainability, these processes must be adapted, so as to continually reduce its impact on and increase its benefit to all human, environmental, and Life systems.

SUSTAINABILITY: now becomes our most important tool in evaluating our creations, but it must be used in balance with both functionality and adaptability. In order for our intent to create beech wood doors to be sustainable, we must assure the sustainability of Beech trees, the humans who harvest them, the environment that supports them and all the other life forms that are co-dependant with beech trees. And finally, a product, regardless of how sustainable it is, will not serve us, if it is neither functional nor adaptable. (We’ll just have to recycle all those widgets?)

Unity Principle summary:

Unity based creations differ from Duality based ones at a fundamental level. It is all about intent, Intent, INTENT! Intent is determined by your level of consciousness. If you identify yourself primarily as a separate individual, then you will always focus on your own profit first, often at the expense of others or the environment. History has shown that enterprises based on this narrow expression of self are seldom sustainable and are therefore doomed to failure. But, if you identify yourself primarily as a member of a greater collective, a fuller aspect of GOD, then your intent will be focused on profiting all aspects of your greater self. By profiting the world of which you are apart your individualize aspect will naturally profit. Your intent for sustainability also allows to you recognize that if you, individually, do not profit, then your efforts are not sustainable and therefore not for the greater good of which you are a part.

How do we move the world into this New Age of conscious awareness?

We get there, by understanding and spreading this unity based definition of self to our selves and then demonstrating, to the world, how creations based on Unity Principles thrive.

This is what the GOLDen Project is all about. It is a bridge, intending to help take the world out of Duality based creations and into Unity based ones. There are many Unity based endeavors building now, all over the world. These are all wonderful projects, businesses, banking institutions, sustainable communities, local farming community cooperatives, etc. So, what makes the GOLDen Project any different from all these other wonderful endeavors? It is the ability for all these communities to actively tap into the collective consciousness. You see, the most important difference is that most of the other projects are individualized efforts to create independent sustainable communities. But these communities are more or less separate from each other. Granted they have moved from communities of individuals, to individual collective and cooperative communities. But they are still separate individual communities. The next logical step is therefore to unite these individual collective communities into a world wide consciousness of collective communities. Just, think how much easier it will be to build these communities. The leaders and architects won’t need to reinvent their own wheels, but can instead exchange their knowledge, successes, and failures with a world of eager partners. In this way the individual collective consciousness of communities can become a unified global collective consciousness.

Here at “LightWorkers.org”, we are perfectly positioned to facilitate the movement of these collectives into a true global community? There are many reasons, but I will concentrate first on the most important: US, all of US. This Organization is made up of the most enlightened, brilliant, compassionate, and talented people this planet has to offer. We are a group conscious connected through a functional, adaptable and sustainable collective. And, we are each uniquely positioned around the world. We are perhaps the best expression of Unity consciousness on the planet. But, what is it that makes this expression possible? It is the Internet and it is the Model that the “LightWorkers.org” domain exemplifies. I give my highest praise to the designers, visionaries, and architects of this website. I have spent the better part of my life, building, designing and maintaining Computer systems, from the earliest days of computer technology to the very largest mainframes on the planet. I can tell you that this site is perhaps one of the best architected, the smoothest, most flexible, comprehensive, and intuitive site I have ever seen. It would be a fairly simple matter, using this site as a functional baseline, to create a secondary domain and link it to each and every new and existing Unity based community around the world. It would serve as the physical backbone of the human collective community consciousness. Without it, individual sustainable communities are but another, albeit higher, expression of Dualism.
