is there anybody out there?

I am going to be honest here........

I am in a safe place amongst friends and I want to tell you all what is a real part of me. Up until now, I really didn't know if it was real or not, now I know it is.

I feel, see, smell and have been touched by entities also known as ghosts or spirits. There is really no easy way to tell you all about these "experiences". It's not typical and most people can't relate to it as i have seen through reactions to stories i have told. Either because they have been discouraged or scared or they just don't posess these gifts.

By writing this, I am hoping someone else can relate and validate me as a clairvoyant, a empath and telepathic person. I can feel other peoples souls and their pain, the living and the dead, so to speak.

For my fundamental, christian friends, I know you think I am posessed by a familiar spirit or the demonic BUT I do not agree. I had this before I knew Jesus and this does not make me any less loved by Jesus and the Universe. in fact, it is a gift that i feel is authentically me and i am able to be absolutely myself! Some christians call some of these specific gifts Prophetic. I do have the Prophetic gift as well. I am evolving spiritually I believe, and I feel a need to develop, even further, these gifts.

I am for the most part a normal person. I have never been diagnosed with any kind of delusional mental illness. I am a person who goes to work, comes home, plays with the dog, argues with my 15 year old son, eats dinner with my husband and plays on myspace. I believe in God and Jesus and pray to God whenever I need or want to. I take care of myself and am proud to be a..........medium/ psychic/clairvoyant/prophetic person.

Here is a quote from a page I found explaining what "ghosts" or "entities" are:

So, I believe I am "feeling" these spirits psychically or through a psychic-energy-vibrational imprint left behind in the form of a spirit.

Here are SOME accounts of some of the things I have encountered in the past 18 years or so........

Oh the spirits I have seen.......

When my son was a small child, I would sleep in his room, (my husband snored). I would wake to 4 little girls playing in his room; giggling and playing. They would look at me and cover their mouths, as if to be quiet, not to wake me. I was not scared of them, they were cute. When I spoke to them they would act surprised and dissappear, fade away, sorta. They were solid bodies. I felt so at peace seeing these children playing.

Then there was a period of time after that where I would see these two teenage girls; one was writing something on a pad of paper and recording things. She was a 60's looking girl. Long straight hair and had a middle part. She wore round glasses and bellbottom jeans and a t-shirt. Her friend looked like "Nelly" on Little House on the Prarie. She was mischevious; giggling and acting like i couldn't see her, covering her mouth and acting coy. They would converse with each other one being sweet and demure and the other onery and fun loving. They were the best of friends having met, I believe, in the afterlife or during the imprint of psychic energies left behind. They were having fun as two teenagers would. A perfect pair of friends, one serious and one outgoing.

I asked them at one point "what they wanted" and they faded away. A friend of mine, I met at work as a client, instructed me to talk to them and not to be afraid. This was a helpful "first" and I used this valuable information to my advantage. I asked them, "What they wanted" and "to go to the light". At some point when I told them to go to the light, maybe they did? They were definately surprised I could see them. They left my home as I never saw them again.

Once I saw an old woman stroking my husbands face and just joyful to be with him. She was older and had a grey bun in her hair and was portly. She loved him as I could see her stroking his cheek ever so tenderly. I don't know who this was but whomever, she loved him dearly

I have seen infants come to me and touch me and my best friend who is not dead, come to me in an etherical state, comforting me. She doesn't remember this but I do!! I have seen unexplained shapes and vivid colors. I had a visitation from an entity that was cloaked in a hooded robe. It was telling me "come into the light." I was awakened and blinked my eyes a couple of times. I saw very bright lights coming from the floor!! I could not see a face. I was scared I had just witnessed a premonition of my death! I called my mom and my sisiter-in-law who was very familiar with the bible, I could not get any definitive answers about who or what it was. The next night another figure came to me and said, "My hands are the light." i was scared and amazed at this! There was light underneath it, shooting up from the floor. I did not know what this was but the vision was the first of its kind for me to hear on an audial level.

I had a christian lady tell me it was a demon.

I have seen a demon too, but I do not give creedence to the demonic. There was a demon hovering over my husband once. I started praying and I was absolutely terrified!! It saw me and came at me with spikes like it was going to stab me repeatedly! Terror is the only word to describe the feeling I had. It was brownish-grey and it was cloudy and hollow. It had black eyes and it was surprisingly small. It's face was angry and skeletel.

I serve Love , Light and God and I will not be posessed by the dark side!! I stand firm on this. I don't give it much thought really. I can not serve two masters so I give creedence to the universe and Love in all forms including lost souls or psychic essence rendered from unexpected death.

I have seen an indian brave in the doorway of my old house I was told this was a protection of sorts. I believe we were sitting on an indian burial ground. This was the first house I first saw things in.

The second house is where I saw the kids and teens.

This particular memory is one of my very vivd, distinct experiences and it means so much to me. I see it as being highly personal. This is what happened.

It was my first Telepathic/Psychic experiences. I want to say, I don't have these hardly ever. In fact,this was the first one of its kind and frankly the last one to date.

My best friends mom passed away unexpectedly after being diagnosed with COPD. Her Dad married her mothers best friend. My friend was so greif stricken and she just could not reconcile this woman going into her mothers house and taking over and having no reverence for her mothers things. She was disrespectful to her mothers memory. We went to visit and I had never been to her mothers house before. It took us 2-3 hours to get there. I had to go to the restroom as soon as we got there. as I was sitting there I felt, very strongly, her Mother standing there in the restroom with me. She was "on guard" of her home letting me know she was there taking care of things. She was also letting me know that everything was under control. She was not going to let her memory become stagnant for her daughters sake. I could feel what she looked like. I have never told this part to my friend that she was "smoking a cigarrette" and very casual. I had not, til I started writing this, really knew those details and would not in any way try to manipulate her with my account if I thought it would hurt her by such vivid personal detail. It is very personal and supremely reverent in my mind and I want to to keep it that way.

I am also very sensitive to energies at the institution where my Dad lives. I feel very heavy and oppressed when I leave that place. I have been told by a friend to cover myself before I walk in there for protection from the heaviness and negativity lurking in there. I plan on it next time for sure!!

I guess I do talk to the spirits and am not as scared as I thought as I read this. I did not talk to her Mom as this was the first time I had really experienced something so intense as this.

In this house, the third house, the one we live in now, its different. Very impersonal and mischeivious entities. These spirits are, "in a hurry", so to speak. Experiencing lots of anxiety to get from one point to another. There are groups of aparitions around the closet door and in the doorway of my bedroom. I describe my experience as a traffic director. In my thoughts, I tell them to "go on". There is a portal in my closet. I have never had this investigated and I tell you this from my hearts knowledge only. I do not like going into my closet and I feel something in there very strongly. Not scary just very strong. My animals do not seem to notice anything. I have heard they are keenly aware of spirits. I haven't seen this.

I am being haunted I have been told, and I have started to take control over the situation and tell them to "leave me alone so i can sleep". I ask them what they "want" and say, "go away" and tell them "Uh uh, don't touch!". I asked myself, "What is the reason for this happening to me?"

Serindipidously, I just so happen to read this tonight.............

Why Do Ghosts Haunt?
Ghost haunt people and places for many reasons.

Often they have messages they wish to convey before they move on to a higher realm - or back to the creational Source.

The messages may concern the circumstances surrounding their deaths - such as murder, suicides, accidents, other foul play.

Often the ghost has unfinished business - such as inheritances/wills - finding lost papers and other items belonging to the ghost.

Many ghosts do realize that they are dead - as the death was instantaneous rather than from a prolonged illness.

Many ghosts choose to live close to the family they were part of when they were in a physical body.

Some ghosts like to remain in the physical frequency of the home in which they once lived.

As in all things some ghosts are positive while some are negative energy.

A manifested ghost can be seen by one or more people at the same time. But there are instances where only one person in a room can see the ghost while the other people see nothing.

Spirits exist in higher frequency realms. When a spirit manifests as a ghost - it usually is able to produce something that is physical.

I am confirmed.

The reason I am putting this out there is to find out who of my friends is like this and (I suspect some of you are). How many, if any, of your experiences are similar? How do you experience spirits? Do you get scared? What do you say to them? Have you helped any of them return to God? Have you ever encountered smells, sounds, or hearing things out of the ordinary? Was it at home when this occured or at a known haunted place? Do they follow you from house to house?
