Vision

I searched your heart for the things that made you you.

And in the search I saw the place you reserved for me..

As I approached this place.

The light that surrounded me was

So bright I had to close my eyes.

And when I did I felt my heart being taken to a higher place in you.

Because of fear I dared not open my eyes....for you knew I was there.

But even as my eyes remained shut.

I began to see things...... things that you wanted me to see.

I was taken to a place in you..

A place where I saw the most beautiful sunset.

The stars above seemed to dance in the night sky.

You told me to turn around.....and when I did.

What I saw can only be described as a piece of heaven.

I saw you smile at me. Not just any smile.

But a smile that reached into my heart and soul.

It touched me in the very depths of my being.

Without a word.....I knew what you were saying.

You said you searched for the place that makes me who I am.

Well you have found that place.

It's you in my heart that makes me who I am.

Then I wondered.... does she know who makes me who I am?
